Films That Make You Cry

What is it like being a film editor? How would a normal daily routine look for them?

Posted this before but no one answered.

Boring, lots of tedious work. After you put it together you look at it to see if the narrative makes sense. Then someone not exposed to the material needs to look at it objectively to see if there is too much assumption placed in the editing. But in the end can be really cool.

Like the old saying though, “A film is never finished, only abandoned.” You never feel like you got it all correct.
